
Traditional Shaolin Kung fu
Students learn the older form of the arts from the Shaolin Temple, the tradition and philosophy. This is for those who are committed to the ancient authentic Shaolin arts. The program is designed according to the Shaolin system, for general fitness, self-defense and total conditioning (both mental and physical). Learn not only the arts of self-defense and to be fit, but also self-control and to be capable of remaining calm in any situation.
Beginning students start with some Shaolin Exercises for conditioning and to get them used to generating powerful movements. The Curriculum then moves on to traditional Shaolin empty-hand forms (Luo Han 18 Hands, Xiao Hong Quan) and progresses into weapons (Staff, Broadsword, and Straight Sword). After training for some time, the student is eligible for Shaolin Discipleship Candidacy.
