Day Camp

The summer day camp welcomes both youth and teens. Each week we shall focus on different themes: such as Kungfu Panda, Kung Fu Monkey, Tiger and Dragon. Camp students will be divided into three major groups:

Group 1, 5-7 years old; Group 2, 8-11 years old; Group3,12-17 years old


Features of training:

Character:

respect, discipline, focus, honor, perseverance, ‘team up; never give up’

Basic mental and physical skills:

personal safety, mind-body awareness, physical conditioning, strength, cardio and physical coordination, power and speed

Kungfu Skills:

Traditional Shaolin forms, self-defense maneuver, situation escape,

Acrobatic & Gymnastic skills: head stand, rolls, cart wheel and other basic tabling skills traditional Shaolin forms, both defense and offense skills. You will learn that with a high level of discipline and strong character, you can make a difference in the lives of people around you.

Chinese (Mandarin) Language studies:

Basic phonetics (Ping Yin), basic conversation, and writing in important Chinese character

Ancient Wisdom and Warriors Story Telling

孔子Kong Zi Confucius, 老子Lao Zi, 孙子Sun Zi, and three kingdoms warriors…

Oriental Cooking:

We will try oriental style foods, and learn the oriental way of Shaolin style of cooking…

Each child’s progress will be rated against his/her own base at the end of each week. All students must get a B in order to get certificate.

July 9-13 Atlanta will not have Day Camp;

Special Residence Shaolin Warrior Camp = July 6-13 in Mobile, AL;

 This is a special intensive Shaolin Warrior Overnight Camp held in Mobile Campus

 

Age requirements and camp goals:

Shaolin Little Panda: 5 to 7 years old

We focus on personal safety awareness, character building, basic motor skills, self-control and discipline.

Shaolin Little Dragon: 8 to 11 years old

We focus on personal safety, discipline, character building, safety, ancient traditional Shaolin forms, defense and offense skills.

Shaolin Youth: 12 and older

We focus on fitness, discipline, character building, self-defense, situation defense, Shaolin traditional forms, combat kickboxing, Sanda and weapons.

This is a wonderful opportunity for those who wish to help their children learn personal safety, oriental culture, develop their character, and leadership skills.

This Shaolin Training Camp will give students total body/mind training in discipline, self-confidence, self-control, and self empowerment, to prepare committed students for future growth in life.

At the end of training, each student will be awarded with a certificate of completion for the weekly or monthly camp of authentic Shaolin Kung Fu & Oriental Culture.
