Have an oriental language and culture experience<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Day Camp<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The summer day camp welcomes both youth and teens. Each week we shall focus on different themes: such as Kungfu Panda, Kung Fu Monkey, Tiger and Dragon. Camp students will be divided into three major groups:<\/p>\n<p>Group 1, 5-7 years old; Group 2, 8-11 years old; Group3,12-17 years old<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nFeatures of training:<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Character:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>respect, discipline, focus, honor, perseverance, \u2018team up; never give up\u2019<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Basic mental and physical skills<\/span><\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>personal safety, mind-body awareness, physical conditioning, strength, cardio and physical coordination, power and speed<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Kungfu Skills<\/span><\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Traditional Shaolin forms, self-defense maneuver, situation escape,<\/p>\n<p>Acrobatic &amp; Gymnastic skills: head stand, rolls, cart wheel and other basic tabling skills traditional Shaolin forms, both defense and offense skills. You will learn that with a high level of discipline and strong character, you can make a difference in the lives of people around you.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Chinese (Mandarin) Language studies: <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Basic phonetics (Ping Yin), basic conversation, and writing in important Chinese character<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ancient Wisdom and Warriors Story Telling<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u5b54\u5b50Kong Zi Confucius, \u8001\u5b50Lao Zi\uff0c \u5b59\u5b50Sun Zi, and three kingdoms warriors\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Oriental Cooking:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We will try oriental style foods, and learn the oriental way of Shaolin style of cooking\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Each child\u2019s progress will be rated against his\/her own base at the end of each week.
